Hello hello helllo gang, Tommy Gunn here. Been a minute since my last post, so I figured I'd share a little experience with all of you on How "Porn can have Positive effects on your life", or should I say mine at least in this case.
So, I'm leaving set the other day after a shoot with a lovely young lady Kylie Reese. She rocks way hard and is a whole lot of fun. Anyway shes behind me in her car I'm in my prowler ( this car sticks out like a sore thumb.) Anyway, I'm all cool driving in front of her a couple miles down the hills of the valley onto Van Nuys Blvd, and i look up and noticed a Motorcycle Cop has gotten in between us and is got his lights on.....so im like " what the fuck did I do now."
Meanwhile this chick who was following me for a few miles is watching me and I think I'm all bad ass until she sees me get pulled over and drives away thinking maybe I got a ticket or something. Turns out the cop's like" OMG you're fucking Tommy Gunn and you're in this movie and that movie and this website and that website....." I was like "Holy shit what a lucky break" so after kicking it with the Cop for like 20 mins he gives me his # and says, "send me some movies and if you ever get hassled by any other cops call me, I got the Valley on lockdown and I'll back you up." We then shook hands and drove our separate ways and that is how Porn can have a positive benefit in your life. NICE!!!!! Thought you might like to hear that story......peace to all untill next time ROCK ON!!!

So I got a comment on the forum from my last post, and since I get asked this all the time, I decided to make it my next Loaded Gunn entry.
Guys ask me all the time how to break into the adult industry as male talent, and want my help and suggestions on how to do it. Well first off, there's a whole lot more to it than what it's cut out to look like. I would suggest really thinking it over and making damn sure it's a decision you're not going to regret later. There's a lot that goes with crossing that line, so to speak, and doing something that some people (mainly your family and friends) may not agree with. And you have to then deal with the possibly of losing their respect and/or even friendship.
If then you still wanna do it, you're gonna have to do a lot of research. For instance, go to the conventions and meet the directors and talk to people. Or, maybe,, find a really hot girl that's willing to shoot a scene with you and shop her around and if a production company wants to shoot her, and she says she'll only work with you, then you may possibly get the chance to be on camera. Then that's your break. Other than that, get some pics taken, do some research to find agencies and submit your photos,
That the best advice I can give.
Unfortunately I can't open doors to the biz for every guy who asks me If that was the case, there would be 100 new guys every day and no work for the ones who are cut out for it. It's a hard job (no pun intended) to do, and an even harder job to break into. And even if you do get a chance, it doesn't mean you'll last. I see guys crash and burn all the time thinking they got the chops, until they call ACTION, then they fail miserably. Good luck!

Hello loudside.com! Tommy Gunn here.
First off, I wanna say how excited I am to be part of the Loudside family. Before we get started, I wanted to take a minute to let you know some of the exciting things I have going on.
Of course, I am anxiously awaiting the premiere of Pirates 2: Stagnettis Revenge, featuring all the HOT contract girls from Digital Playground; Jesse Jane(TM), Shay Jorda(TM), Stoya,(TM) Katsuni(TM), Riley Stelle(TM) , Gabriella Fox(TM) and a bevy of even more big stars such as Bella Donna, Sasha Gray, Jenna Haze, Brianna Love, Abbey Brooks , Shawna Lenee, Rhylee Richards, Brea Lynn, Shyla Styles, and Veronica Rayne, and, of course, my fellow male performers - Evan Stone, Steven St. Croix , Manuel Ferrara , James Dean , Marco Banderas , Mick Blue , Ben English, Charles Dera and last but not least, yours truly, Tommy Gunn (TM), as Capt. Victor Stagnetti. Its gonna be a HUGE hit so keep your dam eyes peeled or I'm gonna gouge 'em out and feed em to the seagulls ARGHHHHHH! Lol....
Also got another big movie coming out from New Sensations called Hearts and Minds 2, featuring the sexxxy contract stars Ashlynn Brooke and newcomer Sadie West, along with such other beauties as Cassandra Cruz , Celeste Star, Marie McCray, Samantha Ryan and fellow Male Performers Jack Lawrence, Anthony Rosano, Tyler Knight and Seth Dickens. And now onto my 1st entry, Being A Male Porn Star.... It's a dirty job but someone has to do it.
I'm gonna try to give it to ya straight from the hip, Tommy Gunn style, on what it's like to be a male performer in a business driven by marketing of the girls. Its a tough gig and breaking into the business is even harder. If you're lucky enough to get the shot and can deliver the goods you might have what it takes can be around for a long time. But that's only the beginning. As a guy in the business its your job to make the girls look good and you're often called on to perform in some of the most difficult situations and settings, from the hood of the car, to a wooden staircase to the top of a grand piano with a short time to deliver.
How's that sound so far?
Lets move to some other interesting situations: How about being on set for a shoot for 10 hours in costume before you even shoot your sex scene. Sounds like fun huh? Sure! Ok, how's about performing in front of 20 people under hot lights? No problem? Well then how about stopping and starting five times because the lights need changing or the girl's make up is messed up or there's a technical problem with the equipment… all the while still trying to keep it hard in front of 15 guys you never met.
Piece of cake? Then you're ready for more things that you haven't thought about. Just when you thought, "Wow, this couldn't get anymore crazier," bam, they hit you with, "The girl you were supposed to work with is sick." So you're gonna work with a replacement who may not be your type.
Sorry.
"This is a job and not a dating service," screams the director, "so it's up to you to get the job done."
These are only a few things that you may not have thought about.
But let's say you're doing well, handling the job and performing. You decide, hey, I like one of the girls I've worked with and ask her out on a date. It becomes serious and you're like, "Wow, I like this girl."
There's the balance of trying juggle a relationship with your job and jealousy may start. You can't stand the thought of her being with another guy now, or vice versa. A fight happens maybe before you're off to work. All you have on your mind is the fight you just had and not about what your hired to do — perform! Your head is clouded and you're not focused.
Then it happens.
You strike out. Or have wood problems.
This is where it gets tough, being able to separate the relationship from work and move forward, forgetting about the catastrophe of a bad scene where you struggled because you lost focus.
Then you take that bad experience, bring it to the next set and you mind fuck yourself. You're a human not a machine and you're not going to hit a home run every time. This is a little of what goes on along with having the best job in the world — a male porn star.
If you even get to call yourself that, because not many of the guys go on to build a name. You realize that most of the fans are interested in the girls and not the guys.
A tough thing to accept is that the weight of the whole scene rests on the male performer's shoulders to get the job done. That's a lot of pressure and you won't even be mentioned the end of the day. So you still wanna be a porn star?
