The explosive Southern California quintet MANNTIS have crafted a stunning, brutally heavy and dynamic debut offering, which will breathe fresh air into the metal and hardcore scene. The group recently signed a worldwide deal with Century Media Records, and their new album, Sleep In Your Grave , has been set for a June 28 th release. The disc was produced by Cameron Webb (Danzig, Motorhead, Social Distortion) and features 11 blistering tracks of unrelenting metal intensity. Their influences come from a diverse number of bands, ranging from Meshuggah and Pantera to Killswitch Engage and Zao, to name just a few, and their pummeling sound reflects the combination of these influences.MANNTIS originally formed in 2000 and immediately began playing anywhere and everywhere possible. Their stunning stage presence was undeniable and overwhelmed anyone that stepped in front of them. The buzz spread quickly throughout the underground, but their biggest break would come in 2004 when they gained worldwide recognition from their participation on the hit MTV show “Battle For Ozzfest” and the current U.S. “Battle For Ozzfest” tour.
