Conceived in the summer of 2006, Oceano has vastly grown from a high school grindcore band into a demolishing heavy metal standout in the Chicago music scene. After enduring frequent line-up changes, Oceano seem to have settled upon a solid line-up and have embarked upon spreading their brand of heaviness across the region, already completing numerous Midwest tour stints.

Oceano is INTENSE and simply Pissed off. This aggressive energy creates a live performance nothing short of sheer DESTRUCTION. You'll be hard pressed to experience another band as angry as Oceano. You'll find it more difficult to NOT want to harm someone during their set. Mixing the heaviest, meanest and most dark aspects of death metal and hardcore, Oceano renders you helpless and assaults your senses. Coming straight for your throat with razor sharp riffage and an unmatched aural onslaught of devastating beatdowns.

In summer 2008 expect Oceano to tour FULL-TIME, and just as their lyrical imagery projects, to create a path of Destruction across the nation and soon, the world!
