Self described as "Complex melodic metal fused with Black and Death metal", Vale Of Pnath bring together their collective influences to create just that.
The band's list of influences is of course a veritable who's who of Extreme metal's elite, including but not limited to: Vehemence, Cynic, Spawn Of Possession, Neuraxis, Capharnaum, Psycroptic, Old Man's Child, Decrepit Birth, Martyr, Behemoth, Arsis, Necrophagist, Between The Buried And Me, Theory In Practice, Dimmu Borgir, The Legion, Anata, With Passion, Quo Vadis, Fleshgod Apocalypse, The Absence, Wintersun, Canvas Solaris, Spastic Ink, The Universe Divide, and Deadborn.
The band recently recorded a Self-Titled EP with Engineer David Otero (Cephalic Carnage). The EP was released in summer 2008 and has since sold out. There are no plans to re-press it, however, three songs can currently be streamed on the band's Myspace player.
With the success of the EP, the band has just begun to scratch the surface of what lies ahead. Keep an eye out for bigger and better things to come from the extreme metal juggernaut known as Vale Of Pnath....
