I Got Shot In The Face thinks people take hardcore music way too seriously. They don’t want people to have preconceptions about what hardcore music is or should be, and instead just want to blow your ears out with heavy music and give the genre the finger. They are not trying to be the “sickest” thing you’ve ever heard, they just want to be fun, heavy music with maybe something to say.
