Arsonists Get All The Girls began as a joke band between friends thought up in a garage in the summer of ‘05. The two original members (Arthur Alvarez and Patrick Jones) and other former members wanted to do something like their favorite act at the time, HORSE the Band. They wanted to fuse the keyboard of HORSE the Band with other favorite acts of theirs such as, Between The Buried And Me, The Black Dahlia Murder, Glass Casket, The Red Chord and a few others. Although at first the songs written lacked very much of any influences listed it helped them shape that rough idea into the sound we all know them by today. Now that they have uncovered their own, original sound, the band continues to create something heavy, brutal and new to the ear. Now, with five completed tours in the time span of a year and a half of being a band with a solid line up they have began to make that slow but steady climb to where they hope to someday be… touring non stop for a living with bands they love.
It all began with the rough start of any band striving to get their name out and get a foothold in the world of music… opening shows, a number of member changes, playing for little to no money, and sacrificing time, money and personal health. Arthur and Patrick started the band not only as a joke but also so Patrick could learn to play an instrument. Patrick bought a bass and had Arthur teach him how to play with his knowledge on guitar as they went along. Their original drummer, Adam Trowbridge of Arthur’s old band Treacherys Wake had been playing drums for Arsonists from the beginning but decided it was not for him and left them for personal reasons. Patrick had met a character by the name of Garin Rosen through a mutual friend of the two and knew that he played drums. He practiced with them once and joined the line up. Soon after, they discovered one of two front men, Remi Rodeburg (Vocals/Keys). The same situation with original keyboardist Geoffrey Montague, involving personal reasons caused them to search for a new keyboardist. With a failed attempt for a new keyboardist, they added ex front man, Cameron Reed (Vocals/Keys) of Treacherys Wake to the line up. After going through 4 different second guitarists, they have finally settled with their newest and final member, Nick Cardinelli.
