The forceful melodies of Across Five Aprils began in September 2001 in Chattanooga, Tennessee. From the moment they first played together, the band knew they had something unique and would bring a new twist to the music scene. Continually writing and constructing fresh material, they decided it was time to record their debut full-length and in March of 2003 "A Tragedy in Progress" was released via Indianola Records. The summer of 2003 was full of non-stop shows and touring, they even garnered in excess of 150,000 plays on mp3.com before it shut down later in the year. Next on the band’s list was recording an MCD for Indianola Records. The MCD entitled “Living in the Moment” is scheduled for release in September of 2004.
