As I popped in the first disc of TINY TOON ADVENTURES I was almost immediately whisked into my 13 year old self watching the show after school wondering to myself if there would ever be a time when I would not watch cartoons as my older sister did. Now 28 years old going on 29 going on 30 going on scaring myself with future ages and so forth I realize that NO, I will never not watch cartoons. I love them entirely too much and the surrealism of the animated world definitely comforts me when I am sick of dealing with our supposed civilized world.
Honestly I would much rather live my days in Acres Green with Babs and Buster Bunny, Plucky Duck and even Montana Max and Elmyra than dealing with most of the humans in this so called world... ohhh how embarrassing my pesimism was hanging out and you didn't tell me!
All in all thes cartoons are ripe with pop culture references as well as actual information be it geographical locations, history, math, etc. but even with all of this it is still fun.. you know like edutainment... but... uhhh... you know... still fun!
