Starring CHIWETEL EJIOFOR (the coolest f***ing name EVER!), TIM ALLEN, JOE MANTEGNA and the cute as a button (are buttons really all that cute though?) EMILY MORTIMER, REDBELT revovles around Mike Terry (Chiwetel Ejiofor), a Jiu-Jitsu teacher who has avoided the prize fighting circuit, choosing instead to pursue an honorable life by operating a self-defense studio with a samurai’s code. Terry and his wife Sonda (Alicia Braga) struggle to keep the business running to make ends meet. An accident on a dark, rainy night at the Academy between an off-duty officer (Max Martini) and a distraught lawyer (Emily Mortimer) puts in motion a series of events that will change Terry’s life dramatically, introducing him to a world of promoters (Ricky Jay, Joe Mantegna) and movie star Chet Frank (Tim Allen). Faced with this, in order to pay off his debts and regain his honor, Terry must step into the ring for the first time in his life.

Scifi fans rejoice as WARNER HOME VIDEO is releasing an all new Director's Cut of the cult classic scifi film DARK CITY starring RUFUS SEWELL (A KNIGHT'S TALE, THE ILLUSIONIST), WILLIAM HURT (A HISTORY OF VIOLENCE, THE INCREDIBLE HULK), KEIFER SUTHERLAND (FLATLINERS, TV's 24) and JENNIFER CONNELLY (REQUIEM FOR A DREAM, BLOOD DIAMOND) onto both DVD and Blu-ray HD on July 29th (I told you it was a good day to DVD!) The hype for the the upcoming WATCHMEN major motion picture is on and WARNER PREMIERE and APPLE ITUNES have teamed up to offer the coolest thing possibly ever. What is this mystery WATCHMEN majesticness (is that a word?) that I speak of????
I would just tell you to log into iTunes and do a keyword search for WATCHMEN but alas that search pulls more than just what I am speaking. So to stifle any future confusion what I speak of is the WATCHMEN MOTION COMIC which the first chapter of is available now... FREE at iTunes. So for those whom were already fans of the comics or those of you that want to get in the know before the film hits, get started with your WATCHMEN journey over at iTunes!
WATCHMEN will be watched in theaters beginning March 6th, 2009!

On July 29th (or next Tuesday if you prefer) WARNER HOME VIDEO will release the sequel HAROLD AND KUMAR ESCAPE FROM GUANTANAMO BAY onto DVD in both a rated and unrated version and as well on Blu-ray HD for all you technophiles! In anticipation of this "bottomless" affair coming to DVD the good folks at WHV has supplied us with a TV spot and a clip from the film itself, which you can check out for yourself below.

In just broke all opening weekend box office records news, WARNERS BROS.THE DARK KNIGHT has knocked SONY PICTURESSPIDER-MAN 3 off of the top of the charts bringing in over 18 million dollars from its midnight screenings, 67 million dollars in its first day and 158 million dollars in its opening weekend!
So I guess congratulations are in order to everyone involved on this film, seriously EVERYONE from the craft service people on set to the team that did the viral marketing this has been one of the most spot on films made from begin to end even with the terrible circumstances they had to deal with, they still put it all out there and in the end it has paid off!
So with this news, I am sure WB is poised to make another Batman film anyone thinking like me that it should be based off the KnightFall series????

Wed Jul 16, 2008 8:22 am Apple Trailers has posted the HD trailer for the new action/thriller FELON starring VAL KILMER and STEPHEN DORFF. FELON involves a loving family man with a promising future, Wade Porter (Dorff) whom suddenly loses everything when he accidentally kills the burglar who breaks into his home. Convicted of involuntary manslaughter, Wade is sentenced to spend the next three years inside a maximum security facility where the rules of society no longer apply. Forced to share a cell with a notorious mass murderer (Kilmer) and subjected to brutal beatings orchestrated by the sadistic head prison guard (Harold Perrineau), Wade soon realizes he’s in for the fight of his life and must become the toughest FELON of them all if he wants to survive the block. After all, what doesn’t kill you only makes you stronger. And in state prison, only the strongest survive.
FELON lands itself in theaters July 18th!
